Volleyball at Dig for Life Classic

The Oran High School Volleyball team began its play in the 32nd Annual event Friday evening by losing to Portageville 8-25 and 20-25.  Later that evening they split with Bunker 23-25 and 25-24.

On Saturday morning, they split with Grandview (Hillsboro) 25-17, 23-25.  They also split with Doniphan in a "Challenge game" that helps determine seedings for the tournament.  The score was19-25 and 25-22.

The Eagles lost to Bunker in the opening round of the Black Division, Silver Bracket play in three sets 16-25, 25-18 & 11-25.

Overall they went 4-7 in the 11 total sets they played.

They will be back in action on Tuesday when they travel Leopold for a 6 pm match.
