The Oran High School volleyball team started its season last night winning in straight sets on the road at Risco. The Lady Eagles picked up narrow 27-25 and 25-23 wins.
Oran was paced by Savannah Below's three kills and five digs. Traci Hency had two kills and four blocks. Kennedi Mcvay had two kills as well. Heather Gosche added five digs. Hannah Boshell also chipped in with two blocks. Laney Shy dished out six assists.
Oran dropped the jayvee contest in straight sets, 25-18 and 25-19.
Boshell had a pair of kills. Courtney Dirnberger and Dalaini Bryant had one apiece.
Dailey Seibert had five digs and two assists. Taylor Hobbs had two assists and Haley Webb added an assist as well.
The Lady Eagles will be back in action at home on Thursday evening when the host East Prairie at 6 pm.
