Oran Athletics will have three sports in action this week as Junior High girls basketball hits the floor on Monday. They travel to Chaffee for a 6 pm tip-off. At 4:30 pm, boys baseball (6-1) will host Bloomfield (4-5).
On Tuesday, the (2-5-2) volleyball team will travel to take on an always tough Leopold Wildcat squad that entered the weekend 0-1. The match begins at 6 pm.
Action resumes on Thursday with all three teams in action. Baseball will travel to Bell City for a 4:30 first pitch. The Cubs enter the week at 6-0. Volleyball travels to conference foe New Madrid County Central who entered the week at 1-4, the match starts at 5 pm. Junior high girls basketball hosts Scott City at 6.
Baseball will travel to Bernie on Saturday. Game time is 11 am. Three innings of jv will be played before the varsity contest.
