The 7th grade claimed a 49-28 victory in the opener. Tristen Schlosser led the way offensively with 12 points. Tyson Loper and Landon Stanberry each added 8 points while only playing two quarters apiece.
In the 8th grade game, the Eagles scored early and often racing out to a 39-4 half time lead and cruised to a 62-5 victory. Jacob Shoemaker netted 24 points for Oran. He was followed by Landon Stanberry and Tyson Loper with 12 each.
Both Oran JHBB teams are now 2-0 and will be back in action Monday, November 3rd at Kelly for their first conference games of the season. Game time is 6 pm.
Also on Monday, McTeacher's Night at McDonalds in Benton from 4 pm to 8 pm. Proceeds go to help fund the Accelerated Reader Program at Oran Schools.
