The Oran Lady Eagles split their home conference games with East Prairie tonight. The Varsity won big while the Junior Varsity lost by five.
Varsity Action: Allison Cummins returned to the Eagles line up after an extended absence due to injury. She did not start but entered the game 2:06 into the opening period, a period that saw Oran hold East Prairie scoreless, 15-0.

East Prairie would not score a field goal until there was just 34 seconds left in the third quarter and the score was 33-3.
Going into the fourth quarter it was 35-3 and the mercy rule clock was in effect
the final eight minutes. Oran ended up winning by a final of 41-6.
Three Lady Eagles scored in double digits, led by Cummins' 13 points, Tatum May had 11 points and four rebounds, while Ashlyn McIntosh chipped in 10 points and had five steals.
Oran is now 3-3 in conference and 12-10 overall.

In the second half Oran outscored East Prairie 13-10 but it wasn't enough as the Lady Eagles lost 31-26. Oran has an 0-3 conference record and is 3-8 in all games.
Abby Essner had eight points. Mackenzie Graviett and Jordan Schott both chipped in five.
Upcoming Action: The Lady Eagles will travel to Perrville on Monday as they take on St. Vincent. Game time is 6 pm.
