The Eagles' track and field team had three members reach the sectional meet this year. Each one of the sectional qualifiers also set a school record during the 2017 season.
Coach Ethan Evans said, "It was good to see an increase in numbers this year. We also had 3 athletes advance past districts which was nice. "
Bradley Brooks qualified in Long Jump and earlier in the season set the school mark in the 100 Meter Dash with a time of 11.77.
Savannah Below competed in the High Jump during the sectional and she set the school record with a leap of 4'-8".
Madison Ramsey ran in the 1600 Meter Run the event in which she holds the school's fastest time at 6:21.00.
