Eagles drop Devils

In the opener, the younger team, which had not played well the last three games continued that trend through the first period, as they trailed 6-3.  But, after Robby Menz converted back-to-back steals into back-to-back layups, the Eagles lead 13-12 and never trailed again enrout to a 25 point win.

Luke Peterson and Parker Diebold both added four.  Nic Massey and Noah Mitchem chipped in two apiece.

They hit 10 of 17 from the line for 59 percent.  They improved their league mark to 4-0 and 8-2 overall.

In the nightcap,  the older team jumped out to a 19-9 first quarter lead, but with two starters on the bench with foul trouble during the second quarter, Chaffee closed to gap to 23-20 at the half.

During the final two periods, however, it was all Eagles though as Oran out-pointed the hosts, 21-4.
