It's a short week but a busy week as the Eagles transition into the high school basketball season.
Junior high hoops will end this week and the high school girls will begin.
Both groups see action on Monday.
The boys will play at home in the Scott-Mississippi Conference tournament.
The second-seeded 7th-grade team will face the 3rd-seeded Scott City Rams at 5:15 and the number 3-seeded 8th-grade faces the number 2-seed East Prairie Eagles at 7:45.
The Lady Eagles travel to Malden to take on the Greenwave at 6 pm. Last year Oran won the jayvee contest 41-8 and the varsity 75-38.
On Tuesday the girls will be at conference rival Scott County Central for a 6 pm tip-off. These two teams met up twice last year, Oran won both, both margins of victory were less than 20.
The Scott-Miss tourney concludes on Tuesday. The seventh-grade championship game begins at 6 pm and the 8th-grade title game is 7:15.
