School will resume on Wednesday for the kids, but the sports schedule resumes on Tuesday for both the boys and girls.
The Lady Eagles (6-2) will begin play as the number as the number-two seed in the Delta New Year's Tournament at 5:30 pm. They will face the #7 seeded Meadow Heights Panthers (2-9). Oran won the previous matchup just a little over two weeks ago by 50 points.
Also on Tuesday, the boys (8-2) travel to Bernie who is 10-2. They were the number-three seed in the Bloomfield Christmas tournament but were upset twice and wound up sixth. Last year the Eagles won 58-40. The junior varsity tips at 6 pm.
The girls will resume tournament play on Wednesday. If they win their opener they will face the winner of 3) St. Vincent or 6)Scott County Central at 8:30, otherwise, they will face the loser at 5:30.

The boys will have only their second home game of the season, other than the O.I.T., when they host district rival Meadow Heights on Friday, beginning at 6 pm. The Panthers enter the week at 8-3. The two teams have not met for the last several years during the regular season.
