This week will not be quite as busy as the last couple, but there should be enough hardwood action to keep fans happy.
The boys who are 4-1 and 12-3 at the junior varsity level and the varsity is 4-1 and 16-3 will host conference rival Chaffee on Tuesday beginning at 6 pm. Chaffee's varsity is currently undefeated in Scott-Miss play at 3-0. Overall they are 11-6. For the varsity it is also a key district matchup.
The two teams met during the Christmas tournament. Oran won that meeting 83-57 (post is here).
The varsity girls (3-0, 13-3) will put their 18 game conference win streak on the line when they host the Charleston Bluejays on Thursday at 6 pm. There will be no junior varsity contest. The Lady Eagles defeated the Jays during the conference tournamant on Jan. 11th at Scott City, 77-59. (post is here).
The boys will play a varsity only contest at Bell City on Friday at 6 pm. The Cubs are winless thus far this season.
The boys' Bradley Brooks and the girls' Kaylee Payne were both injured during their last games. Their status is unknown at this time.
