Volleyball loses at home

The Oran High School volleyball teams lost in straight sets at home last night to Oak Ridge.

The junior varsity went down 14-25 and 19-25.  The varsity was defeated 20-25 and 11-25.

Coach Amy Wibbenmeyer said, "The varsity played very good at the beginning of the first game and we were talking and up the whole time. Around point 17 we missed a serve and after that, we just stopped talking, moving, and working together. The second game we never came out of the slump and stayed down the whole time ."

The jv is now 0-3, the varsity is 3-6.  Both squads will be back in action this evening when they host the Leopold Wildcats at 6 pm.
