Volleyball falls in tourney opener

The Oran High School volleyball team lost its opening game in SEMO Conference tournament bracket play and was eliminated yesterday.  The Lady Eagles fell in straight sets 25-4 and 25-18.

Kaylee Payne had five Kills, Savannah Below three and Katelyn Streeter two.  Kennedi McVay had three assists and Cassie Cochran tallied six digs.

Oran will now enter district play, with a record of 9-15-1, on Monday as the number-five seed taking on the fourth-seed Clarkton Reindeer at 6:00 pm in Bell City.
