Eagles swept by Blue Jays

The Oran Junior High School boys basketball teams lost twice last night at Oak Ridge.  The seventh-grade fell 52-18. They were down 22-3 after one.  The eighth-grade was up 21-20 at the half but ended up losing 48-37.

Four Eagles scored three each, they were Marshall Bradley, Brenden Campbell, Andrew Dennis and Jase Fuemmler.  Bradley, Campbell and Fuemmeler each hit a trey.  Cody Allbritton and Nate Pobst had two points apiece.

Oran was 1-5 from the line for 20%.  They are now 2-7 on the year.

The older boys led during the first half, but it was all Blue Jays during the second half.

Camdyn Triblett scored 14 for the Eagles.  Kolton Payne had 12, including two treys.

Luke Peterson scored six and Robby Menz had five.  Menz hit a three-pointer as well.

Oran was 4 of 9 at the stripe for 44%.  Their record dropped under the .500 mark.  They are now 4-5.

The junior high boys will be back in action on Monday when they host Chaffee at 6 pm.
