Coach Jim Eftink said this about the weekend, "A good tournament for us. We played as a team and had four very good games. We held Park Hills to one run over six innings in the championship game!! And they are a very good at the plate. The defense in that Park Hills game was outstanding. There were standout plays all over the field.  Diving plays by both Mallory and Claire. Hotshots snagged by Leah, Kaylee and Sam. Can’t say enough about the defense. We also had four very well pitched games!! Alyssa and Kaylee brought their A-games. We also were very good at the plate. Four homers in four games. Lots of big hits up and down the lineup.  Every player on this team stepped up—from pinch runners to pinch hitters. It was just a great weekend for us."
