Fall baseball preview

The Oran High School fall baseball season begins on Tuesday when Advance comes to town for a 4:30 contest.

The Eagles have a 19-player roster this season, that will try to improve on last year's 4-7 mark.  Last fall, Oran played no home games or full-field practices because of infield turf issues.  No such problems this year and the majority of games will be at home.

This year's roster is freshman heavy with seven on the squad, several of which will more than likely see significant playing time.  There are three sophomores, five juniors and three seniors to round out the squad.  The seniors are Jake Phillips, Todd Priggel and "K" Kole Simms.
