Volleyball drops match at Risco

It was a long bus ride down to Risco and probably felt like a longer one back home after the Oran High School varsity volleyball team fell in straight sets last night to the Tigers.

Risco did not have a junior varsity team.

Once again the Eagles started out slow, dropping the first set 14-25.

They made it close, but fell 24-26 in the second.

Jessie Long had 2 aces and 6 kills.  Kenzie Graviett had an ace and 2 kills.

Brianna Stause had 5 kills.  Cheyanne Dobbs and Kaitlyn Wittu each, added 3 kills, while Megan Tenkhoff chipped in with 1.

Oran, now 6-9, will be back in action on Monday when they host the Bloomfield Wildcats at 6 pm.
