Oran led 16-6 after one and expanded 33-17 at the half. The Eagles had a 17-4 margin in the third to lead 50-21 and cruised to the 29 point victory.
Leah Cauble scored a game-high 24 points, Jessie Long had 18 and Ashlyn McIntosh added 10.
Hannah Scherer chipped in 6, Brianna Stause 3, Tatum May 2 and Claire Ramsey 1.
Kenzie Graviett, Shiloh Kirn, Madison Ramsey and Katelyn Streeter played, but did not score.
Cauble hit 2 from beyond the arc and handed out 3 assists. Long grabbed 8 boards and 4 steals. McIntosh and Stause each added a trey.
Coach Ethan Evans said, "We didn't shoot the ball extremely well which might have had a little to do with rims that were not very forgiving. In the 3rd quarter our defense and rebounding really kicked in and we were able to take control of the game."
Oran hit 19-45 from inside the arc for 41% and 4 of 16 from beyond for 25%. At the line they were 14 of 27 for 52%.
They improved their record to 6-0.
Junior Varsity
The Eagles were up 6-3 after the first quarter but blew the game open with a 13-0 second. Oran out scored NMCC 19-13 during the final half to double up the green Eagles, 38-16.
All six Oran Eagles reached the scoring column.
Madison Ramsey scored 13, including 3 three-pointers, and Katelyn Streeter had 11.
Kenzie Graviett had 6, Megan Henson and Madison Graviett added 2 each.
"It had been 20 days since the jv had a game and it showed in the 1st quarter offensively. We finally got going in the 2nd quarter as we started being aggressive. Defensively, the effort was solid the entire game," said Coach Evans.
The jv is now 2-1.
The girls will be back in action on Thursday, when they host South Pemiscot at 6 pm.
