The Oran Junior High School girls volleyball team picked up a straight set road win this evening against Meadow Heights. The Eagles prevailed 25-20 and 25-11 to improve to 3-3 on the season.
Kaylee Payne had 6 kills and 2 aces. Savannah Elfrink had a kill and 3 aces.
Bailey Shipley had 6 aces, Heather Gosche had 5 and Sam Welter added 2.
Coach Erika Hutchcraft told the blog, "This game was a great test of our ability and dedication; we had another player get injured Tuesday so we had to make some changes and the girls adjusted very well. This group is versatile and works well together. The first set went pretty quick and there some times we weren't on our toes. Second set Meadow Heights got us with a couple tough hits or tips, but we stepped it up and came out with the win."
Oran will be back in action on Monday when they travel to Zalma for a 6 pm match.
