It will be a short week at school but there will be plenty of sports taking place. Oran's Easter break starts on Thursday and classes will resume the following Tuesday.
Track and field will get the week started at 4 on Monday when they compete in the Kelly Invitational. Softball (11-0) and baseball (5-1) will share a bus to Woodland. Both games start at 4:30. Softball defeated the 9-5 Cardinals twice during the recent Puxico Invitational Tournament. Woodland's baseball team comes in at 1-10
Tuesday will see baseball hosting the 6-2 Portageville Bulldogs at 4:30.
Something a little special on Wednesday as the softball team will take on the Advance Lady Hornets at Southeast Missouri State University at approximately 6:30 following the Redhawk vs the Southern Illinois - Carbondale game. Oran won the earlier meeting 11-0.
The sports week will wrap on Thursday when baseball travels to Advance to take on their district foe, the Hornets. Advance starts the week 3-8. Game time is 4:30.
