The Oran Eagles scored 9 runs in the first and rode the no-hit pitching of Cole Priggel as they cruised to an easy 18-0 win over the Richland Rebels.
The second-seeded Eagles sent 13 to the plate in the first and 11 more in the second to remove all doubt as they led 16-0 after two innings over the seventh-seeded Rebels.
Oran banged out 11 hits, got 8 bases on balls, 4 errors, 1 hit batter and 9 wild pitches from 4 Richland pitchers in the win
Cole Priggel was only a hit batsman and an error away from a perfect game as he tossed all five innings as he struck out 4 to improve to 3-0 on the year while the Eagles improved to 13-4.
Clay Sauceda drove in 3, while Drew Reischman and Austin Eftink both had a pair of rbi. Reischman, Sauceda and Layne Johnson each had two hits. Johnson had a double and Sauceda added 2.
Every player on the roster saw action.
Oran will be back in action on Monday when they face the #3 seeded Advance Hornets at 4 pm.
