The Oran Junior High girls basketball teams traveled to Bloomfield last night and picked up a pair of wins. The seventh-grade won a two-quarter contest 15-3 and the eighth-grade routed the Wildcats 70-11.
In the opener, Mari Fuemmeler and Olivia Grisso both scored six. Caroline Brashear added three. The girls were 3-4 from the line and improved to 4-3.
The older girls had three players score in double-digits. Braylynn Morgan led the way with 22. Addie Nichols had 19, including a trey. Molly Spane followed with 14.
Sophie Bryeans had six, Lily Knotts had four. Scarlett Schlosser and Fuemmeler had a field goal apiece.
They were 15-25 at the charity stripe and improved to 8-0.
The girls will be back in action Monday when they travel to conference-rival, Kelly. It is also McTeacher's night at McDonalds.
