Lady Eagles Pick up Road Win

The Oran High School girls basketball team made the long bus ride down to Steele but it was worth it as the Lady Eagles dominated in a 69-25 victory.

Tatum May led all scorers with 22 and dished out a team leading 4 assists.  Allison Cummins added 15 points, while Hannah Scherer and Brianna Stause chipped in 10 apiece.  Ashlyn McIntosh suffered through a tough shooting night but made amends by grabbing a team-high 10 rebounds.

Oran is now 5-1 and will not be back on the floor until they compete in the Delta New Year tournament on Jan. 5th.

The junior varsity also picked up the easy win, 39-8, to improve to 2-0.  The Eagles held the Lady Bulldogs scoreless in the third period.

Gabby Krapf, Brianna Stause and Abby Essner each scored six to lead Oran.

The JV will not be back in action until Jan. 19.
