The third-seeded junior varsity Eagles jumped out to a 10-8 lead over the number two seed Scott City Rams after the first quarter tonight. But, the next two quarter belonged to Scott City as they outscored Oran 17-4 and 20-12 to take a 45-24 lead into the final period. The Eagles were able to trim the deficit by seven in the final frame but it wasn't enough as Oran fell by a final of 59-47.
Cole Priggel dropped in 20 points to lead all scorers. Layne Johnson added 14 for the Eagles who are now 6-6. The Oran jv will return to the court tomorrow afternoon at 4pm as they take on Chaffee in the third place game.
