Lady Eagles Drop Contest at Three Rivers

The Oran Lady Eagles played a matinee this afternoon at Three Rivers Community College in Poplar Bluff against the Twin Rivers Lady Royals.  Unfortuantely there was not a happy ending for the Eagles as they came up on the wrong end of 40-26 score.

Oran, who is playing without senior leader Allie Cummins due to injury, fell behind 13-4 after 1 and 20-6 at the half and never gained any ground in the 14 point defeat.

The Eagles were led by Ashlyn McIntoth's 10 points.  Hannah Scherer had 9 points.  Scherer had 8 rebounds while McIntosh grabbed 7.

Oran, now 9-6, will host Meadow Heights on Monday.  Action will get underway at 6 pm with the jv contest.
