Lady Eagles Fall in Delta Semi-final

The Oran Lady Eagles knew that they had a very tall task taking on the number 1 seed Saxony Lutheran Crusaders on Wednesday night in their semi-final match up at the Delta New Year tournament.  Unfortunately for the Eagles they were not up to it, falling to the state's second ranked team in class 3 by a score of 60-24.

Oran trailed 14-4 after one quarter and was never able to gain any ground from there on out.

Ashlyn McIntosh bucketed 10 to lead the team in scoring.  Allie Cummins grabbed a team high 9 rebounds

The Lady Eagles (6-2) will play Meadow Heights for third place tonight at 6:30.
