It will be another busy week of high school hoops for the Eagles and Lady Eagles.
The girls will host conference and district foe Chaffee on Monday at 6 pm. The junior varsity is 4-0 thus far and will be playing their first regular-season conference contest. The varsity is 1-0 in league play and 10-3 overall.
The boys (3-1, 10-3 & 3-1, 14-3) travel to conference foe Oak Ridge on Tuesday at 6 pm.
No games are scheduled on Wednesday.
The girls will hit the court again on Thursday when fellow Scott-Miss member Kelly comes to town. The junior varsity will tip at 6 pm.
Friday night the boys will host Leopold in the annual homecoming contest. Just remember, "there's no place like homecoming" as this year's theme is "The Wizard of Oz". Game time is 6 pm.
The Lady Eagles will be back in action on Saturday when they participate for the second straight year in the Girls Coaches vs Cancer Shootout at Charleston.
Oran will face Naylor once again.
The day's schedule looks like this:
10am: Scott City vs Advance
11:30am: NMCC vs Woodland
1pm: East Prairie vs Cairo
2:30pm: Dexter vs Carbondale
4pm: Charleston vs Greenville
5:30pm: Oran vs Naylor
Admission is $5, proceeds will go to the St. Francis Foundation for their pink out campaign.
