Baseball jamboree announced

Okay, Eagle nation, I know we haven't done the baseball preview yet (we will as soon as we can get the needed information) but we couldn't wait to get you the 4-1-1 about the jamboree the team will be participating in next Tuesday, March 13th at Bernie.

Here are the details:

MSHSAA Rules for Jamboree

A. All conditions listed in By-law 3.16.6 would apply

B. Additional game rule exceptions

1. Free Substituting

2. Each half inning will end after three outs or 8 runs, whichever comes first.

3.  Players are limited to 2 innings as a pitcher during the event. 

C. Four team format: when four schools participate, a maximum of 3 innings against each team with a maximum of 9 innings per school for the event will be allowed.

Schedule of events : 

Tuesday  March, 13th

4:00 -  Bernie vs New Madrid (Bernie will be in first base dugout) 3 innings

Immediately following will be Oran vs Dexter (Dexter in 1st base dugout) 3 innings

Immediately following will be Bernie vs Oran (Bernie in 1st base dugout) 3 innings

Immediately following will be Dexter vs New Madrid (Dexter in 1st base dugout) 3 innings

Immediately following will be New Madrid vs Oran (Oran in 1st base dugout) 3 innings

Immediately following will be Bernie vs Dexter (Bernie in 1st base dugout) 3 innings

Games will begin immediately after the preceding game.  No warm up or infield.  

Concessions will be available and no admission will be charged.
