Volleyball defeated by Hornets

The Oran High School volleyball team dropped straight sets at home to the Advance Hornets last night, 25-6 and 25-11 to fall to 0-2.

Kayle Payne had nine digs, three blocks, a kill and an assist.  Kennedi McVay had four digs and a block. Cassie Cochran tallied nine digs and Katelyn Streeter added two assists.

The junior varsity only played one set.  Advance won 25-9.

Coach Wibbenmeyer said, "We did not come out mentally play like we did last year. Advance is just an all around good team and it's like we get scared of them every year. We will have some hard practices this week to get ready for this weekend."
The varsity will be back in action on Friday and Saturday taking part in the Dig for Life Classic paricipating in the black division. For more information you can click HERE.
