Volleyball splits on the road

The Oran High School volleyball teams split its matches at Charleston last night.

The jayvee won in straight sets, 25-20 and 20-9.  They improved their mark to 1-4 in the league and 3-12-1 overall.

The varsity lost in three.  They dropped the first, 25-22. Won the second, 25-23 before falling in the tie-breaker 25-19.

Kaylee Payne had eight kills and 12 digs.  Cassie Cochran served three aces and had eight digs.  Kennedi McVay dished out 15 assists and also had five digs.  Sam Welter served an ace as well

The older girls saw their record drop to 1-4 in the Scott-Miss and 8-11 in all games.

The Lady Eagles will travel to Saxony Lutheran on Friday for the 6 pm matches.
