Volleyball wins third straight

The Oran High School volleyball teams traveled to Meadow Heights last night to take on the Panthers.  The varsity Lady Eagles won their third straight match, 25-18 and 25-15.  The junior varsity tied losing the first set18-25 before winning the second 25-19.  A third set was not played because of roster limitations.

The jv is now 2-12-1.

With the win, the varsity improved to 8-10.

They were led by  Kaylee Payne's 11 kills, three aces and three digs.  Savannah Below had five kills.  Kennedi McVay had 13 assists and two blocks. Katelyn Streeter and Cassie Cochran each had five digs.

The teams will be back in action on Tuesday when they travel to conference foe Charleston for a 6 pm start.
