It will be another busy week of action for Oran High School as we head toward the Christmas break.
There are no games on Sunday, but the seed meetings for both the boys and girls Christmas Tournaments will be held.
On Monday the junior varsity boys open play at the Advance JV tournament. The Eagles are the five-seed and they take on the Delta Bobcats who are seeded fourth. Game time is 6:15 and will be played in the main gym.
Also on Monday, the jayvee girls will start play in the Bloomfield Invitational. The girls are seeded second in the event that has five varsity squads and three junior varsities (East Carter, Oran and Woodland).
Tuesday night will have the boys at home hosting East Prairie in a Scott-Mississippi contest that starts at 6 pm. After being down a couple of key players earlier, the visitors come in at 1-2.
Wednesday will see night two of the Advance tourney, but at home, the girls will host Notre Dame Regional High School at 6. The Bulldogs, come in at 5-2.
On Thursday, the Advance tournament will have their finals and Bloomfield's will resume.
There is nothing scheduled for Friday, but on Saturday the finals at Bloomfield will be played.
