jayvee boys win Advance title

The second-seeded Oran jayvee boys basketball upset the top-seeded Advance Hornets to win the Championship of the Advance JV Tournament tonight by a score of 55-28.

Oran led 36-8 at the break and Advance outscored the Eagles by a point in the second half as Oran improved to 7-0 after the 27-point victory.

Kolton Payne led the winners with 18.  he hit two from beyond the arc.  Camdyn Tribblett had 12,

Diesel Cato had nine points, including a three-pointer.  Nick Romas had five, Robbie Menz and Seth Cauble each added four and Riley Schlosser hit a trey for his points.

They were seven of nine from the line for 77.7% and saw their record improve to 7-0.  They will not play again until Jan 3rd when the Eagles travel to Delta.
