It will be tough to top last week, but that's what we hope will happen.
On Monday, the varsity girls basketball team will begin defense of their four-straight Lady Devil Invitational titles. The top-seeded Lady Eagles will face the eighth-seeded Lady Indians from Puxico at 5 pm at Chaffee.
Also on Monday, the Advance jv tourney begins. The boys junior varsity team is seeded second and will face the seventh-seeded Woodland Cardinals at 4 pm in the FEMA gym.
On Tuesday, the Eagles host Risco at 6 pm. As soon as I know if there is a jv game, I will post that info.
Wednesday will see both tournaments continue.
On Thursday both tournaments continue as well. It will be finals night for the junior varsity boys.
Friday will see the Eagles, both varsity and junior varsity travel to Scott City to take on the conference rival, Rams.
On Saturday, the girls will wrap up their tournament.
