An exciting week of post-season hoops coming up.
On Wednesday, for the fourth consecutive year, both the boys and girls basketball teams will play in the sectional round of the State Tournament.
At 6 pm, the 23-5 Lady Eagles will take on the 8-20 Lady Hornets of Crystal City, who won its district as a five-seed.
Following that contest, the 24-5 boys will face the 14-11 Eagles of Brentwood.
The sectional round is in Jackson, once again this year. Admission is $7.00.
On Tuesday from 5:30-7:30 a fundraising spaghetti dinner will be held in the cafeteria.
Winners on Wednesday will move on to Saturday's quarterfinal round at Sikeston. The girls winner will play the winner of 20-6 Neelyville and 16-8 Thayer at 1 pm. The boys winner will take on the victor of 24-5 Bernie and 21-5 Thayer at 2:45. Winners on Saturday will move on to the final four in Springfield on March 13th & 14th.
