Oran Eagle alum (2013) Alex Heuring finished off a successful season with the Cape Girardeau Capahas in the National Baseball Congress world series in Wichita, KS recently. The Caps went 2-2 in the prestigious event and finished the season at 17-6.
Heuring was the team's number one catcher and batted .381.
He was a member of three final four baseball teams and one final four basketball team while in high school.
Heuring then continued his baseball career at Three Rivers College for the Raiders. He will now be competing for the Missouri Western Griffons, a Division 2 program located in St. Joseph, Mo.
