Volleyball Season starts Monday!

Since August 3rd, 19 players have been working to prepare themselves for their 2015 schedule with Coach Monica Collier and her assistant Erika Hutchcraft.

This summer both the varsity and junior varsity participated in the Osage Center league. The varsity finished the season undefeated claiming first place and  then finished second in the league tournament.

This year's roster has 10 junior varsity members and 9 on varsity. The team includes 4 seniors, 4 juniors, 6 sophomores and 5 freshmen.

Eagles prepare for Monday's season-opener.

In addition to the summer league, the team also had open gyms and a camp to prepare for this season.

According to Coach Collier, "We are enthusiastic and are expecting a winning season.".

Monday marks the start of the high school volleyball season for the Oran Eagles.  The local squad will be on the road to face conference foe Kennett in  a 6 pm contest.  Last season the Eagles finished 6-19 and 1-3 in the conference.
