The Oran Eagles high school volleyball varsity team picked up it's first win of the season last night at Oak Ridge in two sets 25-20 and 25-23.
Cheyanne Dobbs, Jessie Long and Kenzie Graviett each served up 2 aces. Brianna Stause also added an ace.
Coach Collier stated, "We had some errors, but overall we played hard. At practice we are going to work on cleaning up our game and continue to improve. It is clear when you watch our girls play that they work hard and love the game."
The junior varsity Eagles fell in three sets to the host Blue Jays 25-1, 22-25 and 18-25.
The volleyball team will be back in action on Friday when they travel to take on district foe Advance.
