HSVB: Conference Tournament

The Oran High School volleyball team was sitting pretty after the first set in last night's match against the Sikeston Bulldogs with a 25-23 win. But, after that, it was all Bulldogs as they claimed the next two sets 25-14 and 25-17 to eliminate the Eagles from the tournament.

Brianna Stause recorded 5 kills and an ace for Oran, whose record is now 7-14-2.

Kenzie Graviett had 3 kills and a pair of aces. Cheyanne Dobbs had 2 aces including the game one winner.  Katelyn Streeter also had 2.  Kaitlyn Wittu, Cassie Cochran and Emily Phillips each had an ace.

Jessie Long also had 5 kills to tie Stause for the team lead.  Ashlyn McIntosh also contributed a kill for Oran who will be back in action on Monday when they travel to Bernie for the Class 1 District 2 tournament. They will face Risco at 4 pm.
