The Eagles held their opponent scoreless until the third quarter when, with a free throw at the 1:29 mark ended the drought and made the score 71-1.
Oran had led 33-0 after one and 45-0 at the half.
The score was 76-3 heading into the final period before a turbo-clock fourth and the 80 point win.
All 13 Eagles that dressed, not only played but, scored.
Leah Cauble had 28 to lead all scorers. She had 8 steals and 4 assists. Ashlyn McIntosh had 12 points.
Brianna Stause had 9 points, including 1 from beyond the arc, and 6 steals. Jessie Long snared a team leading 11 rebound to go along with 6 points. Tatum May added a field goal and 4 assists.
Off the bench, Katelyn Streeter had 8 points. Shiloh Kirn added 7 and grabbed 10 rebounds. Hannah Scherer and MacKenzie Graviett both ended up with 4. Madison Ramsey nailed a trey for her 3 points.
Madsion Graviett, Megan Henson and Claire Ramsey each added a field goal.
After the game, Head Coach Ethan Evans told the blog, "It was nice to get everyone in the scoring column during the game. We played good defense and took advantage of our height on the boards."
Oran was only 2 of 10 from beyond the arc for 20%, inside, however, they hit 56% on 40 out of 71 shooting. Forced turnovers created many lay-ups that helped the shooting percentage. The Eagles were 3-4 from the line for 75%.
Oran improved to 22-3 on the year and advances into Thursday evening's final at 6 pm with the third seeded St. Paul Lutheran (Farmington) Giants, who upset the #2 seed Delta Bobcats last night. The Eagles will be facing the Giants for the second year in a row in the title game. Last year Oran claimed a 60-19 victory.
