There were times during the varsity match it looked more like WWE-WrestleMania 32. A total of 46 fouls were called, 64 free throws were shot and players had to pick themselves up off the court on numerous occasions.
Head Coach Ethan Evans told the blog, "Anytime you play Charleston it is going to be a rough game. I thought we played well at times but had some sloppy play and took some bad shots. We took care of business at the free throw line and got control of the game when we needed to."

Junior Varsity
Things did not start well for the Eagles as they found themselves down 14-4 after the first period. In fact, Oran was down 10-0 half way thru the quarter when Coach Evans called a time-out.
Coach Evans said, "We got off to a slow start and missed several easy shots in the 1st quarter. After that the girls picked up the intensity and really got after it. They started finishing at the rim and taking good quality shots."

Once the second frame started though it was all Eagles.
Earlier, Oran had tried to press the Jays but it had been ineffective, but trying it again to start the new quarter the Eagles hit pay-dirt, forcing many turn overs and several easy buckets.
