Despite a slow start, Oran was able to take a 20-4 lead after one and was never threatened.
The Eagles out-scored their opponents by double-digits in each period and claimed a turbo clock 53 point win to bring home a second consecutive class 1 district 2 plaque. In 2014, they started the streak by winning the Class 2, District 3 tournament.
Leah Cauble hit for 26 points, including 3 from beyond the arc. She also dished out 6 assists. Ashlyn McIntosh had a double-double with 13 points and season-high 18 rebounds, 14 of which came on the offensive end. Brianna Stause scored 11 and had 3 treys.

Oran did not shoot well from the floor hitting only 33% from inside the arc (19-57) and 29% from beyond (7-24). They were 14 out 24 from the line for 64%. so they relied on their defense creating dozens of turnovers with their pressure and they also held Giants leading scorer Catherine Mell without a point. The junior post player had scored 29 on Monday in their upset win over Delta to reach the 1000 point plateau.
Afterwards, Head Coach Ethan Evans said, "I thought our defense, especially our interior defense was outstanding. We really hit the boards hard and got after it defensively. We need to shoot the ball better to keep advancing but our effort was top notch."
With the win, the Eagles are now 23-3 and have won 10 in a row.
They will continue their post-season next Tuesday in Bloomfield at 6 pm against Naylor.
