The Oran High School softball team picked up an easy 16-0 four inning victory yesterday at Oak Ridge.
The Eagles scored 4 in the first, 2 in the second, 4 more in the third and then pushed 6 across in the fourth.
Kenzie Graviett picked up the win going the first two innings. Hannah Scherer mopped up the final two frames.
Graviett gave up 1 hit, she walked 4 and struck out 2 in her two scoreless innings. Scherer did not allow a hit, walked 2 and struck out 2.
Leah Cauble, Claire Ramsey, Tatum May and Scherer had 3 hits each for the Eagles.
Cauble drove in 5, Ramsey had 3 RBI and May 2.
Oran, who has won 6 of their last 7, improved to 6-4.
Asst. Coach Susan Dirnberger said, "Hitting and fielding were very consistent today. Everyone got in the game today. We came out early and strong."
They will travel to Dexter to take on the Bearcats for a rare 6:30 pm start on Wednesday.
