Let's get started.
On Monday, every team is in action. The track and field team will be at Kelly. Their meet starts at 4 pm. The Eagle baseball team (1-3) will travel to Oak Ridge to take on the Blue Jays (2-4). First pitch is scheduled for 4:30. The softball team (0-1) will finally get back on the field as they host the Kennett Indians. Kennett is 5-1 on the season and is the two-time defending spring softball state champs. Game time is also 4:30. And finally, the junior high volleyball team (3-3) will travel to Zalma. The first serve is scheduled for 6 pm.
Whew.
Only one game on Tuesday. Softball will host the Naylor Eagles at 4:30. Naylor enters the week with a 2-1 record.
Wednesday will see baseball have it's home-opener as conference foe Scott City comes to town. The Rams enter this week 6-2 overall and 1-0 in the S-MC. First pitch is at 4:30.
Thursday will be another busy afternoon and evening. Track and field will kick things off at Charleston. The meet starts at 4. Baseball and softball will both have home games as they host conference foe East Prairie at 4:30. East Prairie's baseball team starts the week with a 4-2 & 0-1 mark, the softball squad is 2-0. At 6 pm, the junior high volleyball team will host the Richland Rebels.
On Friday, baseball and softball will host the Advance Hornets at 4:30. The Hornets are a district opponent in both sports. Advance baseball is currently 1-4, softball is 2-3. Then at 6 pm, junior high volleyball will host Bell City.
