The Oran High School boys baseball team had 4 players named to the Scott-Mississippi All-Conference team recently. Three were named first team and one honorable mention.
Named to the 1st team were: Preston Hahn, sr, Drew Reischman, so and Clay Sauceda, so.
Layne Johnson, so, was named honorable mention.
Hahn batted .311 with 22 RBI. On the mound, he was 6-2 with a .274 ERA. He tossed 38.1 innings, had 31 strike outs and 1 complete game.
Reischman led the team his .429 average, 3 home runs and 36 runs driven in. He was also tops with 30 runs scored and 8 doubles. He was 3-1 and had 1 save with .221 ERA in 44.1 innings. He struck out 51 and had 1 complete game.
Sauceda, hit .333 with 1 home run and 21 RBI. He threw out 7 base runners attempting to steal. He also pitched an 1.2 innings. He allowed no earned runs and struck out 2.
Johnson batted .313 with 13 RBI. On the mound, he was 3-5 with 4 saves and a .345 ERA in 44.2 innings. He struck out 66 and pitched 2 complete games.
