The Oran High School volleyball teams lost last night to the visiting Leopold Wildcats. The varsity fell 13-25 and 21-25. The jayvee forced three games but ended up on the short end 18-25, 25-16 and 22-25.The older team is now 1-3 on the year while the younger squad is 0-4.
Assistant coach Erika Hutchcraft, who was filling in for head coach Larry Boshell due to illness, said, "Overall, I thought both JV and Varsity played really well. I think that we will only get better as we continue through the season. These girls have the ability and the drive to do anything they set their minds to, I truly believe that."

The Eagles will be back in action when they host conference foe New Madrid County Central.
