Spring softball still has only one class, but the districts have been re-aligned. Arguably, the top three teams from last year's district four, Park Hills Central, Scott City and Oran have been separated.
This year, the lady Eagles will have a district that includes; Bernie High School, Bloomfield High School, Charleston High School, Dexter High School, Puxico High School, Richland (Essex) High School and Scott County Central High School.
When asked about this year's district, Coach Jim Eftink said, "We don’t have a long history with any of the teams in our district. We’ve only played Bernie, Dexter and Puxico a couple of times due to weather or some other issue. I don’t think we’ve ever played Richland or Charleston since I’ve been here. We played Bloomfield last year for the first time. Scott Central didn’t have a team last year so it’s good to see them back. Nice to see some different teams for a change."
Oran will have a roster of 14 players. It includes five seniors, three juniors, three sophomores and three freshmen.

Eftink said, "We should be pretty balanced this year, with good pitching, strong defense and solid hitting up and down the lineup." He added, "Some players will see their roles expanded, especially the sophomores who look ready to step up."
The schedule, as of now, looks like this:
