Eighth-Grade girls lose first of the season

The Oran junior high eighth-grade team tasted defeated for the first time last night as they fell to Cape Central 33-27 at home.

The Lady Eagles were down 19-10 at the break but outscored the visitors 17 to 14 in the final twelve minutes.

Addie Nichols had a team-high 11.  She hit a trey and was 4-4 from the line.

Braylynn Morgan finished with nine, Molly Spane had six and Scarlett Schlosser added a free throw.

The girls were 10 of 12 from the line for 83 percent.

Their record is now 11-1.

They host Delta at 6 pm this evening and the Pep Club is asking all Eagle fans to wear white.
