Volleyball sweeps Blue Jays on Senior NIght

The Oran High School volleyball teams picked up a pair of wins last night over the visiting  Charleston Blue Jays.  The jayvee won it's one set, 25-10.

Haley Webb had four kills.  Dalaini Bryant had four aces and a dig.  Laney Shy had three assists and a block.  The girls improved to 3-11-3.  The jayvee plays this evening at 5 pm in Jackson.

The varsity prevailed in straight sets in its Senior night game, 25-15 and 25-17.

Four seniors were honored before the contest.  Heather Gosche, Kaylee Payne and Savannah Below as well as manger Bailey Shipley.

Payne had five kills, five aces, a pair of blocks and a dig.  Laney Shy dished out 12 assists.

They are 4-13-2.

The two teams will close out the regular season on Friday when Saxony Lutheran comes to town.  Once again, it will probably just one set of jayvee.
