The Oran High School volleyball season came to an end last night with a three-set loss to Zalma in the first round of the District tournament at Advance.
The Lady Eagles won the first set, 25-16, but lost the next two, 25-20 and 25-11.
Kennedi McVay had 10 kills, two aces and 10 digs. Laney Shy had 23 assists and six digs. Savannah Below added five kills and six digs and Traci Henci had seven kills and a block. Heather Gosche chipped in with three aces.
They finished the year at 6-20-2 and lose three seniors, Savannah Below, Heather Gosche and Kaylee Payne.
