The Eagles came up on the short end of 51-15 score in the 7th grade game. Oran trailed by 10 at half time 21-11 but were only able to net 4 points in the 2nd half as the game got out of hand. Tyson Loper scored 5 to lead his team.
Better results were achieved in the 8th grade contest, as the Eagles won 42-24. Oran outscored the BlueJays 20-11 in the final two quarters to ice the game. Jacob Shoemaker had 15 points to for the Eagles.
The 7th grade is now 5-3 while the 8th grade stands at 7-1.
Both teams will be back in action tonight at East Prairie. Game time is 6 pm.
